One Of The Best Amalgam Books

In this issue Magneto ( the only character not to be Amalgamated ) discovers that his Magnetic Men have gained sentient life. He frees them from their obligations to him. Unfortunately, Magnetos brother Will Magnus is still waging his war on mutants. That and the Sinister Society brings the Magnetic Men out of retirement.
This really could be one of the more original books in the Amalgam line. by that I mean that it looks beyond the gimmick and gives us some real characters to care about.  This also breaks the "if it has to do with mutants it sucks " rule that some of the Amalgams have taken on. It is almost reminiscent of the old Claremont Cockrum years on the X-men. If you haven't figured it out yet, I enjoyed it. I can recommend it with a good conscience.
