Idolizing Magneto, Magneta wanted to form the most powerful superhero team. She invited J2 to join her, but J2 declined. Angry at J2's decision, she attacked him. She was eventually stopped when A-Next came for J2. Magneta invited J2 to meet his father's old friend Black Tom, Magneto also invited Wild Thing. When they arrived, the two found that it was not Black Tom at all, it was actually Enthralla a hypnotist. Enthralla wanted to reform the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants but Enthralla was stopped when J2 broke Enthralla's hold on Magneta. Trying again, Magneta gathered a team that had Wild Thing and Daze. She tricked J2 and Wolverine to come and test Daze's powers. During 'Last Planet Standing', it seems she has given up her cause on fighting evil and joined the Revengers.
