    If you remember when the New Mutants were in Asgard, the Enchantress aged Illyana to an infant and TRIED to age her to a crone but couldn't. Apparently, Illyana's age is stuck at 'young adult' even though I daresay mentally she's 'lived' 30+ years, even with 10 or so years off being dead.

    Few things needs to be noted about fictional characters inconsistent age:

    Mental age,

    Biological age and

    Chronological age.
