regarding a possible, now confirmed Bloodstone sighting in the Punisher comics.
recently the character Illyana Rasputin/Darkchilde came back to the New Mutants
and discussed what she had been doing while she was away, a large part of that
was said to have been focused on recovering her lost five Bloodstones, which had been acquired during X-Infernus by Witchfire from the demon Belasco.

over in Punisher currently, Earths monsters have taken refuge in the abandoned
Morlock Tunnels and built a home called Monster Metropolis were they are
hiding from a group of assassins called the Hunter Of Monster Special Force,
and led by Hellsgaard, the Captain of Science who is seeking to not only
destroy all monsters and cleanse the Earth, but to get a hold of a Bloodstone he
believes in their midst. Morbius the Living Vampire, last seen working for A.R.M.O.R.
fighting the Marvel Zombies is in charge of the protectors of Monster Metropolis,
the Legion Of Monsters, and is in possession of a Bloodstone which was given to him
for safekeeping by a priest made of lava (i cant identify this character, but he seems
to match the description of Molten Man-Thing, but i have no confirmation of this) who
discovered in his volcano home. despite the danger at hand Morbius cannot part with
the Bloodstone which has overwhelmed him and granted him much power, also allowing
him to survive without sustenance. in a last ditch effort to save the monsters Morbius
brings back Frank Castle, aka the Punisher from his recent death at the hands of
Wolverines son Daken,as Frankencastle to kill the Hunter Of Monster Special Force.
Morbuis's intentions are far to late as Monster Metropolis is attacked, many killed
and both Morbius and the Bloodstone fall into the hands of Hellsgaard.
Morbius himself is scheduled to return to the pages of Amazing Spider-Man
shortly after this arc.

the conversation at hand was whether or will this has any bearing on the recently
returned Illyana? at her last statement she was seeking the stones, could she still be and is this a sign of that? is it possible there may be another of the stones on Utopia, or possible in another location she believes her exploits with the New Mutants will take her to? or is it just there for kicks?

note: i put this in this forum because its where the conversation began, and the ultimate question bares on Illyana. also there is no Bloodstone page. i dont seem to be good at making pages if anyone else cares to try there hand.
