Maggie hates Xanatos for transforming her into a mutate. Xanatos is a businessman who was essentially the Gargoyles' Lex Luthor. He has since redeemed himself and has become one of their greatest allies.
Fang is one of the mutates created by Sevarius and Xanatos unlike the rest of the mutates Fang is happy with his new form. He attempted a coup of the Labyrinth but failed and was stopped by Talon.
Maggie was an aspiring actress. She ended up homeless and was subjected to the mutate process by Xanatos and Sevarius. Maggie has come to terms with her new state and is involved with Talon.
Thailog is the clone of Goliath created by Sevarius and David Xanatos. Thailog was subminally taught by Xanatos to follow Xanatos values.
