When she was a girl, Frances Kane's father and brother were killed in a car crash. Her mother, who was driven insane, believed that Frances was possessed by the devil, especially when things levitated spontaneously in the house around Frances. She knew Wally West, who was Kid Flash. She actually had magnetic powers. An evil doctor created an evil personality within her at S.T.A.R Labs-Magenta, who could be triggered by a code word. She also had part of her demon father's soul implanted in hers, making her actually evil. It was removed, but it left her unstable. She finally helped the Cicada Cult stop Flash and battled between good and evil within herself. She joined the New Rogues, but Girder kept harassing her, and she eventually turned on them, now hating everything and she's totally psychopathic.
