    Now We're Getting Somewhere

    I've been reading Madame Xanadu for a little while now and I'm surprised how much I enjoy the book. I really enjoy the artwork and the pace of the story. Madame Xanadu is a likable character and her relationships with her evil sister Morgana and her mysterious friend (she doesn't know, but it's the Martian Manhunter) are really captivating.  I never thought I could get into the magic genre.
     
    We are finally getting to see what Morgana's true intents are now that she has returned. Looks like the showdown is next issue. How will Nimue and MM stop her before she reaches her goals?

      Overall I loved this issue….  It may not look like it but the story is moving along nicely. This is what you need. Liked: The storyline has been building in pace and this issues really drew me in.Great art by Amy Reeder Hadley. I love Nimue’s hair! Disliked: I’m finding it hard to believe Morgaine Le Fey needs another person to wreck chaos on mankind.Not my fave cover but still good.     I loved issue 21 and it lead into this issue beautifully..
