Stranger then comes to her and tells her she needs to disempower Merlin who is going to want to live forever and is going to mess up future events. He tells her that he is going to want her and him to go far away and she must not listen to him. When she goes into her hut she sees Merlin looking through her things and he tells Xanadu they need to go and don't forget her life potion. She goes into the forest to make a potion and she mesmerize Merlin. She brings him into a forest where vines wrap him up and kill him, she then notices her connection to the forest has been cut.

Madame Xanadu - Part 2 0

The artwork in this is very pretty. Although you do see an awful lot of forest... I didn't actually know what this story was about, so when I picked it up (admittedly starting from the 2nd issue) I was surprised that it was about Camelot, especially as Nimue on the cover looks like a Native American. It was interesting to see the artist's interpretation of each famous character, a;though I found Merlin a tad disappointing. He was the generic bearded wizard looking character we're used to seeing....
