gmanfromheck's Madame Mirage #5 - Mirage At Bay review

Almost like two action packed comics in one

There's something about this comic that keeps me coming back for more. The wait in between this issue and last seemed a bit much for me. Finally I got my hands on this issue. It left with Madame Mirage claiming to want to work for Abraham Coyle and his ASI organization. We get to see more of his hired muscle try to take out Madame Mirage. I'll let you guess how that worked out.

So with all that fighting, you'd think that was enough to fill in the issue. Nope. There's more. Harper gets closer to finding out just where her father is. We also see bad-ass Mr. Rhodes in action.

The art, as always, is just so pleasant to look at. That in itself is almost enough to keep you wanting to read this comic. But with Paul Dini doing the writing, you just know you're in for a treat. Wonder what will happen if and when the secret of "Who is Madame Mirage?" comes out. Another cliffhanger ending. When is issue 6 coming out?
