Mace Windu Kicks Butt In The Three Part Conclusion

The Clone Wars will be showing the conclusion to the three part Ryloth saga.  On Friday March 13th, "Liberty On Ryloth" will air on Cartoon Network at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

The Republic forces are stretched thing and Jedi Master Mace Windu has to convince the people of Ryloth to stand up against the droid army.  The Twi'lek freedom fighters are hesitant in trusting help from outside races, even help from a Jedi.  There isn't much time and Windu has to do his best to convince them to stand up for themselves.  The story was developed with George Lucas and really shows the viewpoint from non-combatants.
“Jedi were never intended to be generals in an army, and this was our first chance to focus on Mace Windu – so rather than show him as a fantastic warrior, we explore his exceptional skills as a negotiator,” writer Henry Gilroy says. “We put Mace in a position to recruit the Twi’lek freedom fighters to join the clones in trying to free the capital city of Ryloth.”

Yeah, the way he's portrayed here and in the cartoon Clone Wars was great.  It was pathetic at how easily he was taken down in Revenge of the Sith.

Agreed.

That was a bunch of PIS in the movie. He would beat either of the two in the room, and he gets cheap shotted and killed?

Amen. Though the only thing I would have to say is they didn't really show the Jedi Mace is. No kung-fu Vaapad. Only one Shatterpoint. Plus it didn't show the lightsaber skills he has. (At least compared to the comics.) It was still cool though.

@Winduizcool:
All I've gotta say is that the concept of shatterpoint is beast. I read the book and loved it.
