Before Madman's space adventure, he had a vision of his girlfriend, Joe, dying. His way to prevent this was to have Joe remain on Earth. At the end of the adventure, with the universe safe once again, Haley Foofoo figured Frank would want to celebrate with her there and she is being brought in a sphere. As she approaches, Frank realizes that he's having deja vu. This is when she dies. It Girl stretches out her arms to save her. Haley stops her saying she'll be killed too. With an explosion, Joe is gone.

It's Joe, no it's Luna, no it's...Luna Joe!

Frank leaves and later finds that It Girl and Joe have merged to become...Luna Joe.
