Three issues in and I'm still lukewarm on this title.

Fone Bone has returned to Thorn's house and it's not long before Grandma Ben and Phoney Bone show up there.

I've decided that I'm going to give this title until the end of the first story arc to get good, or else I'm going to give up on it.

I don't normally read the 'funny animals' genre of comics, but I'm not against it either. It's not the cartoony drawing style, nor the cartoony humor (such as when Phoney Bone shoves a whole pie in Fone Bone's mouth and his whole head turns into the shape of a pie) that bothers me.

Rather it's the characterization that bothers me. Characters, especially the supporting cast like Phoney Bone and Grandma Ben, are so one dimensional that it's hard for me to get into the comic, much as I really want to.
