He is 20 tons. When did you see him beating them?

Does anyone know how strong Luke Cage is? I read that he's at 20 tons but have seen him beat Doc Samson and Wonderman who are at 70 and 90 tons.

Nobody says:

"He is 20 tons. When did you see him beating them?"

He beat Doc Samsom during Civil War after Black Panther told him to watch his left side. And in the Cage series, he beat Wonderman during a battle in a prison.

Writer goof or they are updating his powers haven't changed it in his bio yet.

Could be. Maybe what he lacks in strength he makes up by being a better fighter. Captain America has beaten foes who were stronger.

With the difference in strength level his skills shouldn't matter. Doc Samson has battle and enraged Hulk for 6 hours I think it was without tiring. Wonderman is said to be at Thor's level for strength and durability.
