Look and Learn was an unusual publication for Amalgamated Press / Fleetway in the early 60’s in that, unlike their other all art comics at the time which were digest sized, L & L had the dimensions of an American comic book, was half colour, and was made up mostly of highly illustrated text articles, with from 8 to 12 pages made up of colour comics.

The number of comic pages became greater after the 200th issue, with even fantasy adventure series like the Trigan Empire being added in # 232.

Today it is fondly remembered by parents and grandparents, a demographic that has to tell you something about the real popularity of Look and Learn.
