That's pretty damn cool being so close to the action there for a first ever convention. I really like getting to see a convention set up not filled with hordes of people. This gives you a better feel of the scale. The set up for the artists is pretty wild.

Where is this convention again?

No joke, I even have a piece of the ribbon that Stan cut for the opening ceremony.

It's not huge.  It's almost a little intimate.  Next year I'd imagine it'll be bigger.  What I liked is we actually did longer interviews with the creators.  Stay tuned.

im sooo ticked! i wanted to get my Superman/Batman #26 signed by Loeb and pay my respects to his son. so the sign and the schedule both say he's there 3-6. so i go to DC nation, and the Robot Chicken panels (both in the same room as DArk Country last night, and back to back so i didnt have to leave), and then i decide swing out to the booth with the times and his name written in massive letters before the Screening of TRICK 'R TREAT (in the same room after RC).   ...but theres some other guy signing there with a massive line. So i ask his rep where Loeb's supposed to be and he sends me to where Stan Lee's signing was the day before. So i go over there... and theres a freakin sign written in marker that said he was 1-3. and its 3:05.  and to f up the situation more, i go back up to Room A and its now so completely packed that they were kicking people back out!  I had a seat 4th row center!  frag! frickin frag! ...but i got Tomas Jane to sign my Punisher DVD. and i met some wrestlers who i used to watch. still. Jeph..... "

OMG! Stan was there?!? I would have walked to Long Beach to see the man. Dang! Great commentary and camera work as usual. Babs was so cute representing the Vine.
