Lois Lane
Character » Lois Lane appears in 6411 issues.
Lois Lane is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist for the Daily Planet of Metropolis. She was the first reporter to interview Superman after he first appeared in Metropolis. Superman later revealed his secret identity to her; the two married and have a son, Jon Kent.
Lois with abilities or without them.
I vote for the second option.
No, Lois should not have superpowers. She doesn't need them, she is interesting enough without them. She is a fearless reporter who is dedicated to the truth. If a writer can't provide quality subplots with that, then they are not very good (cough Lobdell cough).
Plus, she shouldn't because it add to the relationship between her and Clark. No matter how much they love each other, they live in different worlds. She can't understand where he is coming from as Superman. They are currently exploring Superman with a superheroine girlfriend with Wondy. And when Supes breaks up with Diana and gets with Lois, it should be different from dating a superpowered lady. She doesn't need to be a damsel in distress, but she shouldn't be out there punching Darkseid with her man.

@peppeyhare: You thought that all people voted only for the second option?
I liked Lois with super powers in Superman #24.

I prefer her as a badass normal high-stakes investigative reporter and would absolutely read a solo title for her.
She's boring as fuck either way, a bitchy. noisy, overzealous, dumbass knuckle head reporter who is protected by a plot shield made of superman's S from not getting killed yet saved at the convenient time superman saves her and does nothing impressive compared to her godly boyfriend besides making him a submissive bitch of a man who is the god of superheroes.
Lois makes Superman lame as fuck, unlike Catwoman for Batman or Princess Leia for Han Solo.
Like I said, boring without, she lives in a world of gods, devils, and monsters. Her plot armor and sass is not enough to convince me she and Superman have a realistic connection of being more than just a prop for Superman's human life.
