Lois Lane
Character » Lois Lane appears in 6413 issues.
Lois Lane is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist for the Daily Planet of Metropolis. She was the first reporter to interview Superman after he first appeared in Metropolis. Superman later revealed his secret identity to her; the two married and have a son, Jon Kent.
LOIS LANE/ RED TORNADO
@superwondy: You're right. Will be very interesting to see this.
@arturocalakayvee: Apparently you didn't read comics preview Earth 2 #17 on this website - http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/2013/11/04/earth-2-comic-book-series/3432885/

No, I try to avoid spoilers. Not everyone likes to see them.
I was puzzled.I thought she died. And now turns out that she is alive.
Analogically.I am surprised that Superman allowed Lois to die.His doppelganger of Earth 1 did not allow death to take her away from him.
Its probably gonna end with her and Superman (who has just fallen out of the brainwashing at the edge of death) getting blown up together.
Batman having stomped Superman's brainwashing out with a K-nite boot.
@deaditegonzo: Only if Batman is revealed to be Alfred. That would make him 2 for 2.
she looks lame, no cape? just a bald naked robot lady, psssh.
Kind of a cheap ploy, none of us actually know who this character is, it's just that she is named Lois Lane like a character that we are familiar with, that way they don't actually have to make us care about Red Tornado, writer just counts on us caring because of a name. Though I guess that has been standard for this book even before the writer change.

Well, the original Red Tornado was a portly lady with a soup pot on her head who fought thugs in the 40's.
But, I digress. Wasn't Red Tornado in the Young Justice show (I know he was in the old comic)? So, comic fans might have a passing knowledge of the character even if that one was male rather than female.

I just mean her being Lois Lane specifically.
Lois has not been a character in Earth 2 prior to this, only a passing reference to her having died has been made, so the significance of this Red Tornado being revealed as being Lois Lane should mean nothing if it weren't for the fact that Lois Lane exists in other continuities, so if they named this Red Tornado something completely different then they would actually have to work to get people to sympathize with that character.
same with this non-Batman, who seems to exist to sell books as Batmen seem to do, if he had dressed as some new character no one would care at all about what he's doing, but because he dresses as Batman it's suddenly some intriguing mystery!!!!!!
But whatever, Don't mind me, I'm just getting nit-picky I'm aware, Earth 2 is alright, but I feel like this problem has been present since the books inception and it needs to get better.
@laserlambert: Like I said before, I think her only purpose will be to remind evil Superman about the power of love. If that is the case, then she does have a plot based reason to be around. I suppose you could look deeper if you want in that her transformation into a weapon is mirroring Superman's transformation into evil Superman (I refuse to call him Brutaal), the weapon of Darkseid.
I can't really say, for now, anything about Batman because they haven't revealed anything about the character other than his costume. I'll withhold judgement until his identity and backstory are revealed.
I wasn't actually expecting DC to stick to James Robinson's quote that Earth2 will never have alternate versons of main Earth heroes. What does bother me is that this book was supposed to be the replacement for the very good pre-52 JSA book. However, it seems we are never going to actually see these heroes team up to form the friggen team and this book has been a poor substitute for the venerable old JSA.
@deaditegonzo: Batman - it's Thomas Wayne
@superwondy: Probably by talking to him. Zombie Thomas Wayne seems dope thought.
I thought it was cool that they had killed off all these characters on Earth 2 but nope they just bring them all back again....
Interestingly, Lois can become human?
Yes.She can.
