" @Eyz said:The day Hollywood cares is...well they will never care." Well...chosen picture :P I don't think they'll make Lois a brunette, it's not like Hollywood cares about hair color, ethnicity, etc.. when casting/adapting characters from books, comics, games, cartoons, etc.. "Completely agree, I know everyone gives me a hard time because I harp on little things like this, but I just have a appreciation for the source material, and I wish that the people making the movies felt the same way. "
They (the current producers and most hollywood writers) act like "offering" a movie adaptation is always a reward for books/comics/games/cartoons/etc they decided to adapt. Since "movies" are the best and most popular media, like all other forms of entertainment are beneath them..
When actually, most of the times it's just some greedy movie producers trying to gain some money out of the latest more popular non-film media.
When you see an Eisner awards-winning comic like the current Jonah Hex be made into the newest Razzie Award popcorn movie, it's time to question if those adaptions are really needed.
(and with all these indie comics like Ghostopolis,Scott Pilgrim, Aliens&Cowboys also getting the movie treatment..)
