This book is always a fun read and I’m glad that Marvel can bring us a light-hearted series like this one. There may not be much to the plot but it is well written for what it is and has dialog that is hilarious. Haiball and Ms. Lion steal the show with their back and forth like usual but it is funny to see Zabu get a lick in as well.
In this issue we find out that there is something more to Thor Frog thatn being a cursed human that was turned into a frog that became the champion of he is known as today. The mythical creatures that are in this world and they are doing battle with a dark sinister creature that is crossing over from the mythical creature realm.
All is taken care of when we see the re-appearance of some characters from issue #1 of this series. The Pet Avengers now have some new allies with Hairball 2 and his mythical friends and now new terrors await them in their realm.
