I was reading the first issue of Pet Avengers, and noticed that the Soul Gem that Lockheed was entrusted with in the first issue was the Time Gem. Throg tells him...

   "Lockjaw informs me that you MAY be called upon to use the gem, but be most CAUTIOUS."

   The Time Gem. Lockheed may be called upon to use it. Lockheed is depicted as deeply depressed over the loss/death of Kitty Pryde...

   "...the ONE person on Earth I called friend is GONE...and I couldn't save her."

   Now, if he'd been given the Space Gem or Reality Gem, I'm reasonably certain that his very first action would be to wish Kitty back (Reality) or - if she's still alive - teleport her to him (Space).

   So...can anyone think of a way he might rescue Kitty with the Space Gem? I know, it sounds easy. Just pop back to the momant just before she entered the bullet, and stop her from doing it. But...Kitty saved the Earth by her actions. If stopped from phasing the bullet, the Earth will die. So THAT'S no good, because she wouldn't let that happen.

   So...how? Any ideas? My best one so far is popping himself AND Lockjaw back in time to just AFTER the bullet was phased through the Earth, then having Lockjaw teleport Kitty out. Can anyone think of another way?

   Note that I'me not actually expecting her to return this way. Not without some sort of "Guess who's comming back!" hype, so those who want to could preorder an issue. I'm just saying that it's possible...

I think Lockheed SHOULD rescue her if nothing else...
