Clancy's voice is perfect for this, it would have to be at least partially CG, though.

First of all Clancy Brown should have been Lex Luther! I mean come on everyone who's played him has made him lame! (Kevin Spacey included!)  Clancy does a great job on JLA Unlimited he should be Luther in any up coming Superman project! As for him as Lobo, I can see it. He is a very good actor, I think he could pull it off. I think Brad Garett has a great voice for lobo but can picture his face as Lobo.

Hey, Hulk looked amazing in the 2008 film, and Hyde looked pretty convincing in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. But I'd rather see a actor then a image. I'd say Andrew Bryniarski, the guy who played Zangief and Leatherface in the new TCM films.

I certainly love Ron Pearlman and don't doubt for a minute that he could do it and Brad Garret was great in the cartoon.  But I think the person with the best voice, attitude, sense of humor and look (if they CG'd him to look a little younger like they did to Patrick Stewart in X3) would be Hulk Hogan.  I'm not a wrestle fan but he has such a wonderful Bastich voice and look and his sense of humor is very along the lines of Lobo (maybe darken up his jokes a bit so he would be even more Lobo-like)

As long as its a good actor who can capture the way Lobo is it should be fine imo

Guys come on, this is just a bad Idea period...

Just think for a second and let it set in... LOBO... on Film. Not a good concept. A: LOBO is lame, B: He would not translate well to film. 
 
there are tons of DC characters who deserve a big-budget film more than LOBO.

that's just a few that don't have movies yet. I know a few are supposed to be getting some but they don't yet. 
 
Mabye I'm the Only person but, I think an Atom movie would be amazing, Imagine him on the big screen, now that would be a site.

I think if anything, it would be more appropriate to have a bad actor play Lobo, hamming it up and being awful. That's a better tribute to and representation of the character in my opinion.

I think lobo should be CGI, He should be voiced by Bard Garret the one from The Tv show "Super-man the animated series" The Only Main Man  

Micky Rourke    could be Lobo, he has the physique , the who gives a shit attitude and besides his skin already looks like it could withstand the harshness of open space.

The reason i mention Jason Statham is cause it's a Guy Ritchie movie. Same goes for Vinnie Jones.
 
Top choices would be Rourke and Morgan, though.

I've said it before but I think Jason Momoa would fit the role nicely.Besdies he and Routh are the same age so if they ever wanted Lobo in a Superman movie they could have him.
