Character » Loa appears in 363 issues.

Loa is a mutant with the ability to dissolve the molecular bonds of anything she touches. She also gained the ability to breathe underwater from an Atlantean Amulet that her grandmother obtained from her friend who was Namor's old girlfriend. Unfortunately for Loa, she can no longer breathe normal air.

It's not like they've been permanently paired or anything (at least not yet), they were just making out in the face of tragedy. That seemed normal.

Yeah but it's still kinda weird. I mean everyone is dying, Pixie just lost her soul, Surge goes crazy and kisses Hellion effectively ruining the x-23 pairing, and oh let's throw in a nice plot twist!

Thats what the writers wanted. They imagined that since everyone is dying all around they, the kids were just hooking up all over the place. Cus hey, they might not get the chance tomorrow, ya know? They could die at any moment. So they live every night like its their last.

haha, never really thought about it but i guess they would be wouldn't they?

i personally like loa, i liked how they actually started to use her and the rest of the students towards the end of new x-men.

i agree, she's cool peeps. Her power makes her somewhat less battle friendly though

I like Loa, but I just don't see it lasting. Elixir just seems to go through girls, and Loa just doesn't strike me as much other than a healing period for Josh, after all the crap he's going through.

She hasn't been given a full opportunity to present herself to us. And seeing as how they did, "hook up" the idea of her carrying his embryo is not too far of a reach.

I don't care, but the idea of Elixir impregnating her is foolish, and it'd gain little attention.
Practically no one would care, save for a few die-hard New X-Men fans.

Aside from Dust, Anole, Rockslide, Pixie, X-23, and Elixir (sort of), none of the New X-Men have been featured regularly.
Loa hasn't even had a short story, unlike Gentle, Hellion, Mercury, Surge etc.

Loa won't be pregnant. Marvel is not going to advertise teen pregnancy. Imagine the uproar from parents of kids that read these comics, especially in America, an almost completely Christian country. Lol, it would probably be really funny actually, but negative press would not be good for the company.
