Living Tribunal
Character » Living Tribunal appears in 177 issues.
The Living Tribunal is a single entity existing across the entire Marvel Multiverse. He is the Judge of the Marvel Multiverse and the arbitrator of cosmic justice. He is above the likes of the Celestials, Galactus, Eternity, Death, and Infinity. The Living Tribunal doesn't have his own free will, as he serves the will of the creator of the Marvel Multiverse, The One Above All.
who killed living tribunal
The LT is supposed to be more powerful than the realms of time and space, he's the 2nd most powerful abstract cosmic and there's only one LT in Marvel (correct me if I'm wrong), so whatever did this, and I cannot at this time fathom what it could be and believe me I've been combing through a mass of old and recent books to think of a possible (yet not official of course) explanation, but I have absolutely no idea how this could happen nor where Marvel is going with this.
Suffice to say it was a very disturbing scene, imo, being the fact that he's laying there shriveled up on Earth's moon in 616, with Iron Man of all people actually being able to see him, is mind boggling if you realize the bigness of LT. So I really hope the writers can explain this at some point.
Scathan was sick of Living Tribunal being second to TOAA so he disapproved of Living Tribunal being alive and thus was found dead on the moon.
I don't like LT being dead(if he is dead) but i like Scathan being boss, maybe he would kill toaa lol.
Two questions: how do we know hes dead and not catatonic and of all the people Watcher could notify he chooses Iron Man?

Because many comics of the actuality are incosistent compared with his older versions
@ Killemall you know who killed him
Oh Lord how could this happen...?! Living Tribunal is the second most powerful being in the Marvel Multiverse and the force of balance throughout the cosmos! He was also one of my favorite marvel celestial beings... Anyway my bet is on a somehow resurrected/restored Protege as the one being responsible for this foul deed. This story is likely not going to be good and if it's a retcon of some kind for Marvel it'll be disastrous, but as long as that little brat gets his ass kicked I guess I can bare with it.
Alternate Universes
The Living Tribunal has no counterparts as he is nigh omnipresent and thus simultaneously exists in all realities and time periods. He has ventured to parallel universes before, but his unique nature prevents those realities from duplicating him, as it would severely disrupt the space-time continuum.
This is what I think happen.
Some say that Beyonder is more powerful than LT, but I can't see him killing LT. Protege? Maybe he isn't that dead than we though.
Why I have feeling that Marvel is soon rebooting their universe and it's has something to do with that? :s
@sbyrstall: Eternity isn't stronger than LT... Not even close.
@sbyrstall: Eternity isn't stronger than LT... Not even close.
You're correct. I misspoke. The LT presides over all the multiverse while Eternity is just one, and he/it/she shares it with others.
@sbyrstall: No problem.
So does this have to do with the Incursions? It would makes sense that LT would have to be dead for the Incursions to go down, otherwise I'm certain that LT would have stopped them. If that's the case, then that would mean whoever planned the incursions (assuming they weren't an accident), also saw to it that LT was taken out of the picture. From what we know, TOAA is the only person on a similar tier as LT (but of course higher).
So from this what can we theorize? Has TOAA gone rogue? I doubt it, seeing that doesn't seem to be his MO. Yet then again, we don't really know TOAA's MO since he's only appeared a handful of times. We know more about the Celestials than TOAA.
Which brings me to another possibly. Perhaps the Celestials have something to do with this. They are always tampering with the Universe and sentient life. The Incursion does fit their MO, but they lack the power to bring down LT. Unless they figured out some way to do it. For all we know, the Celestials have unseated LT or even TOAA himself and established themselves as the new multiversal authority, but thats a pretty big stretch for them.
My theory is that someone was able to harness the energy of the "Nexus of All Realites" since it is a gateway to every single universe, it would be powerful enough to kill the Living Tribunal or at least weaken it.
