Why has the Living Tribunal not intervened to stop the Chaos King? he is literally eating away all reality as we know it, and yet the Tribunal is not to be found. as powerful as the Chaos King is, i refuse to believe that he is more powerful than the Living Tribunal, whose power dwarfs even that of the Infinity Gauntlet, and although i could see him not caring if 1 universe was being destroyed, but when all realities and multi-verses are being destroyed, you would think that he would be the first to intervene. so i guess i wish to ask what your thoughts are, on why he has not halted, or at the very least aided Hercules and the god squad in the fight to prevent Chaos King from destroying all there is.
Living Tribunal
Character » Living Tribunal appears in 177 issues.
The Living Tribunal is a single entity existing across the entire Marvel Multiverse. He is the Judge of the Marvel Multiverse and the arbitrator of cosmic justice. He is above the likes of the Celestials, Galactus, Eternity, Death, and Infinity. The Living Tribunal doesn't have his own free will, as he serves the will of the creator of the Marvel Multiverse, The One Above All.
(Chaos War) Where is the Living Tribunal?
FINALLY!!!! Someone who though of this. too. But like someone in another thread said, that its safe to assume that LT has faith in Hercules.
I also noticed that the Celestials haven't appear or the other abstracts...but yeah LT should be watching
" FINALLY!!!! Someone who though of this. too. But like someone in another thread said, that its safe to assume that LT has faith in Hercules. "Very true, or TL just doesn't see Chaos King as big of a threat as others do. Plus its never shown what actually motivates LT besides things that threaten his power and I doubt Chaos King is that, even if he destroys the universe.. he isn't a multi-universe threat like say someone misusing the Infinity Gauntlet.

The real reason the Tribunal isn't getting involved, is that he'd end the threat at its conception therefore Hercules would no longer be relevant. His absence is due to storytelling reasons and nothing else.
" @Primmaster64 said:Oh...of course XD No wonder they won't have him appear, but like I said LT probably knows that Herc has it under control and sees no need to get involve...until now" @Morpheus_: So LT dosen't appear because he would end it fast, and the story would be irrelevant? :D "Not irrelevant, merely nonexistent. "

@RoninTheFury:
You're all wrong, LT's hanging with me at the cosmic bar. I'm helping him pick up some chicks...or um concepts...
" @Pr_Beyonder:LOL. "
Well it's going to take someone omnipotent to get a big naked yellow guy with 3 faces and a creepy hood to get a girl.....
Presumably the One-Above-All has the Tribunal NOT intervene. Or maybe the "multiverse" was simply Earth-616 and its pocket dimensions, such as the Hell realms, the divine realms, but not other realities. Besides, Mikaboshi is not on the Tribunal's level, if he's equal to Eternity, so...
TOAA did help Thor against Glory, though, so...
Sitting on the dock of the bay, watching the tiiiide, roll away... whistle solo *whistle solo*
Quite a few ways to justify his lack of presence, Cho as is an unreliable source in the nature of these things, Mikaboshi, wasn't that huge of a threat, or Living Tribunal and maybe a few other concepts, already knew the outcome and so didn't bother to intervene no matter how dire. You don't have to be Biff Tannen to know that Hercules was going to fluke a win, and Mitsubishi would lose.
probalby because the TOAA wanted it to happen to change the entire multiverse and wanted hercules to do what he did
You had a good reasoning, we all know that TOAA created the Omniverse and has a plan and story for all the characters. Maybe TOAA has the Living Tribunal to intervene only when he knows that no one can stand against a thread.

@jeanroygrant: LOL you can?
Yup here. He was also talked about in more stories with Spiderman, Impossible man and Shaman.
