Link is the name given to the playable protagonist of Nintendo's popular "The Legend of Zelda" video game series. There exist several incarnations of Link thoughout various time periods, though they all the share the mantle of the hero chosen by the Gods to save the land of Hyrule. One of the most famous video game characters, Link has inevitably appeared in several Manga and comic book adaptations.
Actually, there are soooo many different incarnations of both Link and Zelda (nearly a new one with each game), that I'm surprised at least one of the versions hasn't gotten hitched and settled down yet.
Why would she want to? I mean, why pay for the cow when you get the milk for free? Same reason why Mario is always going to be doting after Peach. Some villains might consider crushing some other man's girl constantly a win.
