Out of all the games, not once has Zelda ever kissed Link(well except at the end of Zelda: 2) or they have never really gotten together. I dunno, I guess it just kinda irks me because Link constantly protects Hyrule, the Triforce, and saves Zelda from time to time and at the end of it all its just like they part as friends. Now I know the whole different incarnations of Link/Zelda and all that, but even so and I know that it might annoy some of the fanbase if he went with Zelda rather then some other girl. Though really I don't see Link being with any other, he never really interacts as much with another girl besides Zelda and even then they would seem more like just friends then anything else. 
 
So thoughts? I mean they make up the classic romance of the princess/knight thing.

One comic answered this by explaining they were from different classes. She is royalty and he is usually not so any relationship is forbidden. A few games have implied the possibility of a relationship like Skyward Sword. Others have had potential interests in another girl like Ocarina of Time.
