Despite his young age, Ling is an extremely skilled swordsman and acrobat, capable of surviving an encounter with Wrath.
When Ling became the new Greed, he gained the supernatural powers of a Homunculus: super strength, speed, endurance, rapid healing, and eternal youth. He also gained Greed's unique power: that of the Ultimate Shield: nearly impenetrable protection caused by Greed manipulating the carbon in this skin. With this, he can also make his fingers into strong and sharp claws.
