In Batman Hush Tommy Elliot is introduced as a friend of Bruce Wayne and then "killed", but is then reveled to be the master mind villain. And now in the new 52 Batman we meet Lincoln March, he is introduced as a kindred spirit to Bruce in wanting to be a force for good for Gotham, and then he is "killed" but is later reveled to be the major bad guy. Am I the only one that saw something like that coming? To a small extent you could put two-face in this list as a friend that turns evil but not with as many similarities.

The similarities go way beyond this,they both suck even.I guess Snyder wanted to create a villain worse than Hush.He may have succeeded.

Visually yes,but characterwise? they suck.
