    History

Joseph Calhoun was a mutant born in the early 20th century, who eventually became a clarinet player in "Sweet Tommy Connor's" Jazz band. His boss learning of his special ability attempted to use it for financial gains, but his threat of violence had the unfortunate effect of causing the stable housing the horse to burn down. In retaliation Mr. Connor sends a group of enforces after him, who run him down placing him in a coma for the next 50 years. Eventually however S.H.I.E.L.D. takes custody of the mutant Licorice after finding him in a charity ward and after 50 years he finally begins to awaken from his comas. He then begins altering reality as he begins dreaming, reliving his memories until She-Hulk saves him from the enforcers and he is brought alongside her, Human Torch and Invisible Woman in their quest to stop Nick Fury from kill Adolf Hitler. This reality remains until Fury kills Hitler in self defense, with this event breaking the reality and allowing them all to escape the now 83 year old Licorice's dream.

    Powers and Abilities

Licorice has the ability to alter reality itself but only in a localized area and as long as he is dreaming. He also has some unknown degree of telepathy.
