History
The Original Liberty Belle
Libby Lawrence was the original Liberty Belle, who's super strength, speed and endurance were actually linked to the real Liberty Bell that is located in Pennsylvania. She had an ally ring the bell whenever her powers were in need. She fought during the World War II time period and was a founding member of the All-Star Squadron. She fell in love with fellow All-Star Squadron member Johnny Quick and married him. Together they had a daughter, Jesse Quick.
The Second Liberty Belle
The second Liberty Belle is the daughter of the original. Jesse Chambers has exhibited super-speed abilities at a young age, like her father Johnny Quick, and used them as a super-hero named Jesse Quick. In time she lost her super-speed powers and has revealed that she had abilities like her mother. Joining the Justice Society Of America, Jesse Chambers became the newest Liberty Belle. She fell in love with and married fellow Justice Society member Hourman.
She has recently revealed that she never lost her super-speed and actually retains the super powers of both her parents.
