Liberty Belle can project pulses of powerful sonic vibrations from her hands. These can be strong enough to shatter solid objects. Edit
Libby Lawrence was in Poland in 1939 when war broke out. Her father - Major James Lawrence - was killed in a Nazi attack on Warsaw, and Libby eventually escaped Nazi occupied Europe by swimming the English Channel. Both as a journalist and as a costumed crime fighter, Libby was a fierce oppponent of the Axis powers.
Her friend Tom Revere - keeper of the Liberty Bell - gave Libby a replica of the bell which she wore in her belt. She soon found that whenever the Liberty Bell tolled, the tiny bell she had would also vibrate - giving Liberty Belle increased speed and strenght for a temporary period.
During a battle alongside the All Star Squadron against Baron Blitzkrieg as he tried to steal the actual bell Libby also gained sonic powers , able to generate waves of sonic force from her hands .
Liberty Belle joined the All Star Squadron and married Johnny Quick. Their daughter became the new Liberty Belle.
