Many centuries ago, Gods walked among mortals and they wanted to leave a mark. The Demi-Gods and the Giants, are the divine offspring of the celestial beings. But when the Demi-Gods pushed the mighty Giants into oblivion, they became the lords of the planet. Nevertheless, mere humans were not the appropriate companion for the demi-gods and they built Asgard as a haven for all that was blessed. When the Giants were aware of this, they knew it was the moment for payback and what could be sweeter than use Thor himself as their pawn of revenge.

As Asgard fell, dark creatures began invading the human Empire. Even with the help of Thor, now calling himself the Stormbringer, the Empire was impotent to stop its demise caused by the dark horde led by Master Mayhem. Now, Leviticus Cross stands as the last remaining bastion of the Empire, but a growing fear against superhuman beings is spreading among its inhabitants unaware the maybe these rejects from society are the only hope for mankind.

Leviticus Cross - Part 1. 0

 The artwork on this is beautiful and the pages are all shiny which is really nice. And that's about it really. I'm not a huge fan of fantasy stories that spend half an hour explaining the back story and I'm not entirely sure how Asgard is relevant to the story. Viking legends seem to be a theme here, although the story in the present doesn't really match, in my opinion. Then there are the Angels and demi-gods and it just annoyed me. For some bizarre reason the guy with Thor's (possibly) hammer ...
