Usually, Iznogoud finishes his stories trapped in all sort of situations (transformed into a dog, working as a slave,...) and starts the next one as nothing had happen. This issue explains how Iznogoud manages to get out of this situations and get back to normal for the next one, only in this issue, he also ends up stuck in irremediable situations.
It's based on an earlier plot of Goscinny.
