GO HOME!
WOW! Issue 1, what could you say. It had everything. Moon sized explossions, time travel, parental problems, team discussions, prisoner bails and the first new green lanter recrute in god-knows how many years. So how do you top that? With even more time travel, family problems, team disscussions and street riots. Legion of Super-Heroes #2 is brilliant. The variing storyies are fantastic, the artwork brilliant, and the number of characters brilliant.
So like the title for theis issue "saturn Queen strikes" says, Saturn Queen dose indeed strike. After the exsplosion of Titans Braniac 5, Ultraboy, Mon-El, Wildfire and Tyroc are responsible for clearing the debree of teh moon from the space paths, as to prevent any damage to space craft. Mon-el decides that he should go to Tharr to see if Polar Boy is willing to come back to the legion, and Braniac tries to figure out what could have caused the explossion of titant. But as he stands the pondering he's caught off guard by Saturn Queen, who'd return to see what had hapend to her old home. She probs his mind and then controlled one of the 3 legionneers who remand's mindes, and makes them attack the other 2, and then head to legion headquaters. Menwhile back on Earth Cosmic-Boy has to deal with the safty of the titan Refugees, as xenephobic earthlings crowd around the refugee hospital, and are prepaired to take action. So a teem of Legionees which consist of Colossus-boy, Sun-Boy, Phantom-Girl, Invisible-Kid, Shadow-lass, and the new entri to this happy coral Eath-Man, are sent to deal with the mob. Menwhile Saturn-Girl is travelling through time to find her Kids, and Lighting-Lad, and Lightning-lass decide to return to earth. Its a fun packed issue. ( buy buy buy buy buy buy buy buy.............................. subliminal messeging is fun )
So all in all Legion of super-heroes #2 was fantastic, and worth the buy. The characters are fun ( i personaly like Braniac 5 and Earth-Man ( no idea how hes going to develop which makes him a mystery )). If your new to the legion, this is a better place than any to get started i guess ( concidering that issue 1 of the series followed up on a previous story line involving the Jutice League Earth ). So all in all 4.5/5
