    Legion Runs The Future

Legion of Super-Heroes #1 was an amazing issue and I really enjoyed it. Does Issue #2 still live up to how good the last issue was? Yes, it may even be better.

    THE GOOD:
I like the art. It's simple, the lines are easy to see and I really like it. There is also quite a but of detail in the art as well. The story is what really has improved in this issue. We get to see a new Daxamite that is determined to take down the Legion. I really like seeing how their are still effects happening in this series from it's previous run and that is definitely going to please Legion fans. I also really like seeing the Legion Academy become Legionaires. It definitely makes you feel that they are growing up and will soon be just like other characters that have all ready been established in the Legion franchise.

    THE BAD:
I was a little confused on what Res-Vir was talking about how the Legion has held down his planet for a long time. I have been reading the past issues of Legion and I didn't know that they had any involvement with a planet with that name or anything like that.

    THE VERDICT: 4.5/5 (Amazing)
DC Comics The New 52 has done a lot of good things but I'm glad that it has made the Legion able to be accessed by new readers because really, Legion of Super-Heroes gives you comic book story that has super-heroes but also gives you the feeling of comic book that isn't part of the time. I would recommend everyone at least try the trade of this series because so far it's good.

Carrying forward with the same approach as the first issue, this issue is also a bit of a mess.  The main issue is the assumption that a new reader will be able to follow along with everything that is happening (in many cases just by the little info boxes they attach to the characters.)  That having been said this issue is better, if only slightly but there are so many divergent plot lines that it is hard to follow what is going on.  Shadow Lass is grieving for some unknown fallen member, who I ...

Did I.... Actually Find Things To Enjoy Here? WORLD ENDING NOW 0

The Good: Trying to keep the Legion in their own corner of time rather than the awkwardness of crossovers is a good decision, and the idea that the cause relates to Flashpoint is an interesting plot device.  I actually got the feeling that some of the extended ranks of the Legion were actually USEFUL. They weren't just there to pad out the cast to make it a 'Legion.' There was a good sense that the team takes careful consideration on who gets sent out on which missions, and that some are general...
