Plot Summary

The Emerald Empress holds Polar Boy captive so the rest of his teammates in the Legion of Super-Heroes would stop pursuing her. She is attacked by Colossal Boy, but she is able to defend herself and escape quickly. Soon Dawnstar is able to track her down and actually hurt her, but she is still able to defend herself and even starting to defeat them, being able to cast Quislet away to his own realm. Eventually her true nemesis, Sensor Girl, arrives on the scene. She is surprised to find the Emerald Empress plead for Sensor Girl to free her from the Eye of Ekron's influence. Sensor Girl uses her ability to blind the Eye of Ekron, not realizing that it would kill the Emerald Empress in the process, something that she wanted very much.
