starkiller809's Legion of Super-Heroes #15 - Once Upon a Dream review

Legion of Super-Heroes #15

THE GOOD:
The art in this issue is fantastic are really picks up from the previous issues. Francis Portela does an amazing job at drawing the backgrounds and really makes the book look like it is in the 31st century. The characters also look well done with emotions running high and action on every page. He also draws dinosaurs very well. The story is very simple and starts and finishes in this issue. It adds a lot of a certain character as well. We get to see Glorith having a dream and it leads to several problems. The interaction between the characters are great. Paul Levitz knows these characters and it really shows when he writes them interacting. This issue is also great  fun and doesn't take it self too seriously but does add serious consequences. The Legion fights dinosaurs and it's just really fun to see. The end development was very well done and really makes you feel for a character. Paul Levitz also makes it know that he has a plan and everything will tie in perfectly.

THE BAD:
There really isn't anything that is too bad with this issue. The beginning takes a while to start but once the story gets going, the reader is in for a fun and enjoyable time.

THE VERDICT: 4.5/5 (Amazing)
If you have never read the Legion of Super-Heroes before, I would say that this is a great place for you to start. It only mentions the big event coming slightly and it does it in a way that new readers would be able to grasp. There is a lot of action with a lot of excitement with new character developments that will change the character for a while. If you want to try this issue, please do because you won't regret it.
