    Liquefied by the pressure

The hunt continues only now with more hunting.  With Chameleon Girl unexpectedly found at the end of the previous issue, the two halves of the team now have more reason to track down their targets.  With Tellus and Dawnstar in space trying to find Alastor, the focus here is on the other three as they must navigate the mall, the cops and the uncontrollably changing Chameleon Girl while trying to save her.  This was a well written part of the story, with strong character portrayals.  In comparison the other two in space seemed a bit distant and unnecessary, that is until they find Alastor and track him down, leading to a decent showdown causing the momentum in this issue to fall back with this conflict.  This series is still trying to find itself a little it seems, but it is getting closer to having a lot of strong elements going for it.

I really like seeing the different plots going on...

It's dangerously close to being a simple 'could be a panel' cover, but it has a nice use of blank space to create a sense of emptiness, and the perspective makes things interesting. We continue down the excellent path of focusing on one character at a time for properly paced development. This time around we get Dawnstar, a character who we've gotten more info on than the rest who haven't been developed; so it kind of makes sense to have her this time. And aga...
