Lee Stevens

Origin

Lee was born June 22, 1975, in the State of Alabama, to a Mr. Bill Stevens, and Ms. Martha Stevens. Lee’s Father was an Oil Tycoon, who retired at the age of 50. Lee’s mother wasn’t really a mother at all, always gone spending the family fortune on frivolous objects. As a child, Lee would often imitate his father, dreaming of one day becoming just like him. However Lee’s father would often be caught up in his own hobbies and interests that Lee would often have a babysitter or live in Nanny. At age 14 Lee Graduated High School, and at age 25 Graduated from Auburn University at the top of his class with a PHD in Biochemistry. In order to make his parents pay attention to him and “love him” Lee felt he needed to impress them with money, or knowledge. In 2016 at the age of 41 Lee becomes CEO of Teslacorp., who is the current leader in alternative energy, and decides to move the corporation to California for better recourses. Several months later Teslacorp. buys and old abandoned Orphanage as the new site for their corporate headquarters. While restoring the orphanage Agents of Teslacorp. come across confidential documents, explaining several secret experiments including the experiments conducted on the orphans before being shut down by the government. Seeing these documents Lee now is convinced the “Awakened” can provide the ultimate unlimited energy source and seeks the test subjects out, and spends the next several years searching. The year is now 2020.

Creation

Creators Joshua Skidmore, Stacie Renee' and Brett Keith, wanted to create a character that could be seen as dealing with the current global situations like "alternative power sources" it gives the reader a sense of connection and sympathy for the "villain" of the story. Most people in today's society would say Lee was doing humanity a service, "For the greater good." This allows Lee to be ruthless and unforgiving and still draw the attention of the reader, almost like an internal battle, the reader,not knowing if they should take the hero or the villain's side. Lee's past also plays a big role in his creation, as the creators did with character Darren Wink, they wanted more humanity in the character, making them more flawed like everyday people. Model/Actor Stephen T. McGovern plays this role perfectly.

Personality

Lee is extremely smart, he is a perfectionist and believes everyone is beneath him. He has no remorse for people, no sense of charity. He is egotistical, and self idolizing. He believes money, makes the man. Doesn't believe in friendship and thinks everyone just wants to use him for money and political power. Lee tries to prove his worth by being the best at everything he does. He’s obsessive over projects such as the search for the “Awakened”. He believes if he fails his father would reject him.

Powers and Abilities

Intellect

Although Lee doesn't have abilities, his intelligence alone could be considered one. Lee's I.Q. is far off the charters, Graduating earlier than most individuals, Lee was able to create his own empire at a young age and far surpass his generation. Lee's intelligence is unmatched even when compared to his father.

Combat/Swordsmanship

As a child Lee was forced to take several skill building classes such as fencing and a style of Ninjutsu known as Michinoku Ryu. As he grew up Lee decided to stick with these courses and is now considered a master in both swordplay and Ninjutsu. Due to Lee's expert knowledge in these fields, he is extremely lethal and unforgiving in combat.
