Origin

Dennis was a assistant district attorney who had a big problem with criminals. Most recent he was in a line of law enforcers that has been around for a long time. Dennis became frustrated with all the crimes in the city. There was corruption of politicians. All of the criminals could not be dealt with in a legal way. Thats when he created the identity the Laughing Mask. He did this so he could hunt and kill criminals as a vigilante. One day Dennis was investigating a train wreck. He saw that the engines wheels had been destroyed on purpose. So he made himself look like an oiler. He then went and spied around the train tracks. Thats where he saw to men destroying trains. He then took off his disguise and he followed them to a hideout. He then was caught and was overtaken by all of the guys. He then was sent to an attic. But, he then got free and made up a plan. He turned off all the lights to the place. then took a duplicate of his mask and threw it at them. This caused all of the thugs to become confused. He then defeated all of the thugs quickly. He then ran to the train tracks to prevent any damage to the near by train. He stopped the acid from getting on the wheels. Then he stopped it from going into a bomb. Thats when Dennis went and brutally killed all if the thugs. He left one alive to sign a confession to the crime. He then took him to the police.

Time for a new name

After fighting crime as the Laughing mask for awhile it was time for a change. Dennis got rid of his old mask and became the new Purple mask. The reason he did this is unknown. Dennis later met with the police commissioner. They found out a guy named Federick was getting threat letters to reveal his fathers treasure. His father did not trust banks so he hid them under the house. But, didn't know where they were. The purple mask was thinking to himself the only person that could know of the treasure was a man named Bellos. Dennis then went to see if he did it. He went to Bellos's apartment and found him talking to a thug about the letters. But, they escaped from Dennis. Thats when Dennis went to federicks mansion to save him from a gas being released in the house. Thats when Dennis found Bellos and shot him. Then Dennis ran into other thugs. They had a gun fight. This triggered a secret door and the thugs ran down it. When they went down the secret door.Thats were the treasure was. Dennis then killed one of the thugs and it made the other one surrender and make a full confession.

Just another day

When was walking along he discovered there was a robbery happening. He then followed the criminals to a farm. Where he disguised himself as a farmer. Listening to their conversation. He then tried to attack but, was defeated. All of the criminals got away. So he returned to his office. He then met a guy named Whalen who was the president of the First National Bank. He then investigated everything. He then looked at Whalen's chauffeur. He later finds out that he is in the crime. Also, that they were working for Whalen. Thats when Dennis followed Whalen. He followed him in a hotel. He then listened to Whalen and a conversation with some thugs. He then busted in as The Purple Mask. He beat up the thugs pretty bad. He then locked them in a room and called for police. When he returned the gang was gone. Dennis jumped on his motorcycle and chased after them. He then caught them and made a lot of them pay. Dennis returned all of the stolen money back to the bank. He told them The Purple Mask gave it to him. Later, Dennis is seen attacking some Nazis in Europe. One time he was seen beating a entire bunker of germans with his bare hands. He also saved a girl who was strapped to a bomb.

Powers

Dennis has no real super powers. But, he is strong and athletic. He is a very good fighter. Also he is a master of disguise. He uses guns and a motorcycle.

He is quite ugly, which is why he wears a mask, and the Laughing Mask mask would scare people very easily.
