Eighth title in the series Dark Cities published in Spain, after the shadow of a man (Norma, 2000), and to be followed by the invisible border in the collection The Dark Cities (Norma, 2002).

There is a previous edition of this album in 1991, with fewer pages and a bigger size, and outside the collection of standard dark Cities.
