Lara was only a young scientist on Krypton when she was interned for a man named Jor-El. At first sight Jor-El loved her but it took time for Lara to get used to it. Eventually they fell in love, and a couple years later had a son Named Kal-El but they had to send him away because of Krypton's ultimate doom, and that was the end of her death.
