French publication, the title means "The Quest for the Time Bird". It has been translated into other languages including English by NBM as Roxanna & the Quest for the Time Bird.
The original story was published in the first four volumes.
Once upon a time, long ago, in the kingdom of Akbar, there was a cursed god named Ramos, whom his divine brethren managed to imprison in a conch shell. While reading a grimoire, Mara, a witch princess, discovers that this prison can only be permanently sealed by the Bird of Time. The knight Bragon, once engaged to Mara, sets out in search of the Bird of Time and brings with him the beautiful Pelisse, of which Mara is the mother. Other typical characters will join this quest littered with multiple dangers. It takes courage for them to cross the unfamiliar Pys where the astonishing-looking Bird is hiding.
Succeeding volumes are a prequel to the original story.
Forty years before, Bragon is only a young and obscure peasant dreaming only of travel and fighting. Mara, she, beautiful to damn all the heroes, discovers how easy it is, for a princess made in the mold, to make hearts waltz.
