    Originally thought to be chosen by chance, it was later revealed that Ganthet chose Kyle Rayner because he had the ability to harness the powers of the emotional spectrum. Once the Torchbearer of the Green Lantern Corps, Kyle graduated to the role Ganthet had intended for him: the White Lantern. After the White Ring is separated into seven rings, Kyle returns to being a Green Lantern Corpsman.

    That issue was really cool.Kyle finally mastered the emotional spectrum and became a white lantern!

    I'm hoping that he maintains his white lantern powers for a while longer. From the solicit for 19 it seems that he is no longer a white lantern, and it would be disappointing for him to have gone through all that training just to lose it in two issues.

    I would like to see him stay as a white lantern but at that point i think he would need his own solo or to join a new team.

    He will contribute to the ressurection of H. Jordan again, especially if Jordan becomes a Black Lantern.
