Is the End in Sight for 'Kull the Destroyer'?

Though Laralei is shown chained up, she and Kull are actually the rescuers - Ridondo is the one bound in a dungeon
Though Laralei is shown chained up, she and Kull are actually the rescuers - Ridondo is the one bound in a dungeon

In this issue of Kull the Destroyer, Kull and Laralei must rescue Ridondo from a dungeon where a giant snake-like monster with an impenetrable hide has been summoned by two of the three robed wizards who originally sent a giant condor to abduct the minstrel. But the monster is not exactly what it appears, and Laralei has forsaken her sword after killing Nor-Atz.

Nor is the lizard-beast isn't the only thing that plagues the city. Kull and Laralei are more than welcomed there; Kull is even offered the throne - if he can solve the city's problems.

With the potential of raising an army to retake the Topaz Throne, it seems like Kull is heading toward conclusion at a rapid pace. A shame given that after only two dozen issues, the comic has finally hit its stride.
