    The cover has almost nothing to do with the contentsKull the Conqueror was going strong until issue 7 where it staggers and ultimately fails with the adaptation of the short story 'Delcardes' Cat'.To understand the problem we need to take a look at the origins of the source material. 'Delcardes' Cat' was originally a story called 'The Cat and the Skull', written by Robert E. Howard (creator of Kull) and submitted to the pulp magazine Weird Tales in 1928, but Weird Tales rejected the manuscript. ...
