    Saving settlements, braving The Ordeal By Lightning, raising sunken gold... all in a day's for The Lord of the Apes' son!

    In the first story, Korak rescues a native prince and helps him reclaim leadership of his tribe, while saving a group of European settlers from their aggression. In the second story, he rescues a sea captain and helps him reclaim the command of his ship.

    In the second story, armed only with a knife, attempting to rescue the captain, the impetuous jungle boy finds himself wrapped in a giant octopus’ embrace and on the verge of drowning.

    Russ Manning's artwork is outstanding. In addition to providing his usual fan service by being a walking shirtless scene, Korak becomes a dude in distress in one of the stories. In the second story, armed only with a knife, Korak attempts to rescue a friend from a giant octopus. The impetuous jungle boy finds himself wrapped in the octopus’ embrace as well. He is almost out of oxygen until he is rescued by a friendly dolphin. In both stories, Korak comes across as a handsome boy scout in a leopa...
