Konomi Suzue

Origin

Konomi Suzue is a young police detective in Tobioka. To her dismay, she was partnered with the headstrong Isoroku Tatara, who has a reputation for crossing the lines and causing trouble.

Creation

Konomi Suzue (鈴江 このみ, Suzue Konomi) is a supporting character in the Triage X series that was created by Shoji Sato. It began serialization as a bi-monthly series in Fujimi Shobo's Monthly Dragon Age in 2009.

Her first appearance was in Triage X Volume 1 CH. 3 "CASE: 1 Hell's Prescription III - Trial of the Burning Ship".

Major Story Arcs

CASE 2: Surgical Strike

Konomi Suzue was acting as backup for her partner, Isoroku Tatara, as he went to talk with Taisei Aranami. Though she was suppose to call for help after so long, she was worried about making a scene. While she was worried about what to do next, a young girl wearing a mask came rolling up. She asked if she had seen a shady looking man, and rolled off apologizing, then Konomi's new car exploded just as Tatara arrived with a hostage he rescued, Miss Fujino.

Unfortunately, Miss Fujino was abducted after leaving the hospital by Jin Masaki's men, and Tatara dragged Konomi along when he got clue to his location. She was left as backup again, but she got scared when a woman wearing a demon-mask and carrying a mini gun came walking by. She went to find Tatara and found one of the vigilantes Tatara had mentioned standing over her wounded partner. This stand off can to an end when Masaki's hired thugs came into the room. Disarmed, she was about to be raped when a motorbike came bursting through the wall, and she was dragged to cover by the young vigilante. Konomi then woke up with her partner at Mochizuki General Hospital.

CASE: 3 Midnight Guerrilla

There had been a string of arsons and killings in the city, that she though was the vigilante gang, but Tatara wasn't so sure. He actually thought that the group saved them from that building. Several days later, Tatara dragged Konomi out to investigate a case of burned corpses, despite Tamon Asakura already being on the case.

After the large fire and battle at the ports had ended, the body of Detective Makoto Ogawa was identified among the bodies from his dental records,. However, as Konomi discovered that Makoto Ogawa wasn't even his real name.

Powers & Abilities

Konomi Suzue is a human with no extraordinary powers or abilities. She is however a police detective. That would require an above average level of education and training.

Weapons & Equipment

As a police detective in Japan, Konomi Suzue uses a standard police issued Smith & Wesson M37 Airweight This is a revolver that holds up to six rounds.
