Why did they make Knight and squire so campy and stupid? DC should have made the series gritty like the other bat related titles, also they should get rid of squire, she looks awful, she's worse than robin,(it was always good that they killed him off back in the 80's,it was a stupid idea to replace him and later bring him back)robin's a terrible character, just like squire, they both just don,t fit in with the whole grim and gritty take on DC charecters, also get rid of batgirl and batwomen,if they have those two charecters they may as well have other campy charecters back like ace the bat hound and bat-mite,and completly stupidify the stories like they did in the 50's and 60's.

well think of it this way, knight and squire don't live in gotham, they don't fight anywhere near the ammount of psychotic superheroes on a regular basis, it makes sense they would  be far from dark and gritty. And obviously  if you dislike Robin then you will squire as well.

And DC is hardly all grim and gritty, they haave momments but thats usually with batman, and is contrasted  by robin. Keep in mind Knight is cyrus, a boy who was very much like  Dick Ggrayson was. And he took over, so that explains the personaality, being less dark.
