Thor saves her from the cobra darts, but the Cobra kidnaps Jane and makes her a hostage. Issue #105 - Cobra and Mr. Hyde join forces to briefly kidnap Jane. Issue #110 - Yet again Cobra and Mr. Hyde kidnap the beautiful nurse, as this is starting to look like a habit! However, this time the matter turns most deadly. At the story's end, Cobra throws a tear gas grenade which causes an explosion. Jane is trapped beneath a huge pile of metal and lies at death's door!

Miles discovers spider powers of his own after he was bitten by a spider 11 months before Peter's death, and uses these powers to be the best superhero he can be. Currently, Miles lives in the main Marvel Universe and is a member of the Champions.
